During my tenure at ZEISS, I seized an opportunity to visit New York for Vision Expo East 2022. We leveraged the trip to attend the grand opening party of Dr. Jennifer Tsai’s new Optometry office, ‘Line of Sight,’ situated in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards. While there, I had the chance to capture glamour shots and b-roll footage, which I then skillfully edited, incorporating an existing interview provided by Dr. Tsai. The resulting video beautifully showcases the essence of her practice.
Purpose: Experience the excitement firsthand with this highlight video introducing the ZEISS Vision Experience Center in Hebron, Kentucky. Through a dynamic compilation of b-roll footage featuring tight and wide shots, paired with upbeat music, the goal is to captivate viewers and showcase the innovative design and cutting-edge technology of this new venue.
Responsibility: As the primary videographer and editor for this project, I assumed the responsibility of capturing the essence of the ZEISS Vision Experience Center. Utilizing the Alpha 7R III camera paired with a selection of premium ZEISS Sony lenses, I meticulously filmed a combination of dynamic b-roll footage and captivating still photographs of key areas within the venue. My editing process involved seamlessly integrating these elements with upbeat music to create a compelling highlight video that showcases the innovative design and cutting-edge technology of the center, aiming to captivate viewers and offer a comprehensive glimpse into this pioneering optical destination.
Purpose: Ignite awareness and action during “Healthy Vision Month” with a captivating social media video. Aligned with ZEISS’s brand identity, this visual storytelling piece engages viewers and emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy vision.
Responsibility: As the creator of this social media video, I curated compelling stock footage to convey key messages effectively. From advocating regular dilated eye exams to promoting healthy habits like proper nutrition and wearing protective eyewear, each message is delivered with clarity and impact. By leveraging visual storytelling, I aimed to inspire viewers to prioritize their eye health and schedule an eye exam for a brighter vision tomorrow.
Purpose: Unveil the significance of the ZEISS lab in Hebron, Kentucky, as integral not only to ZEISS in the U.S. but also to the global industry.
